Sigh.

I did not want to make a post about this, but I just want to be clear with every single one of our followers before continuing with our usual tumblring. 

An incident came up earlier today that involved me disagreeing with another tumblr user’s opinion. At Rekordmeister, we try our hardest to keep everything neutral and bias-free (aside from the obvious Bayern bias, obviously). We have only spoken out and stated our opinions if we felt the absolute need to.

Apparently this had led to the belief that, as mods, we hold our opinion higher than that of those who choose to follow this blog. This is not the case and we apologize profusely if you have ever felt that we have belittled your opinion.  

Tumblr is a community for Bayern fans and we like to keep Rekordmeister as a source for those who wish to follow us. We greatly appreciate those who state their opinions, and we often ask for opinions on our own blog. We installed a comment section that works for every post and encourage participation among our followers. (This is much easier our on twitter account, mind). 

I apologize to every single one of you that has felt victimized by any post on our blog in the past (except the Schalkers). I apologize to every single one of you that felt we were belittling a follower’s opinion. That was not the case and I am sorry. I am not sorry, however, for stating my opinion.

You guys are excellent followers and I enjoy interacting with you both on this blog and my personal one. If you ever have a problem with something posted here, please do not hesitate to confront us. If you want Rekordmeister to stay opinion free, please let us know here.

Danijel Pranjic furious with Bayern Munich after Everton move collapses

Croatia international Danijel Pranjic has expressed his anger with Bayern Munich, after his proposed move to Everton on transfer deadline day fell through due to the Bavarian club’s demands.

The former Heerenveen midfielder had already agreed personal terms with the Premier League side, but the deal collapsed after the teams failed to agree on a transfer fee.

“It’s hard to describe the negative feelings I am currently experiencing,” Pranjic said to Sportske Novosti.

“I had reached an agreement with a contract until June 2014, but Bayern demanded a fee that no club would have paid.

“I was convinced that I was on my way out of Bayern, and I’m very disappointed with what’s happened. I don’t get any playing time here, and I’ve been denied the chance to move to the Premier League. I’m very unhappy,” he fumed.

The 30-year-old’s contract at Bayern is expiring, and he recently stated that he will leave the club on a Bosman this summer.

This is all very upsetting and we are disappointed in Rummenigge for blocking his transfer. We wish him the best of luck this summer when he leaves the club for free, as he should have months ago. Hopefully we will see him in the Premier League next season.
