Today’s Goal Monday isn’t so much a goal as it is a game, but we’re sure you’ll love it anyway. On Matchday 5 of the 1999/2000 Bundesliga season, a little bit of true football madness went down.

As Kris (who by now is an honorary Rekordmeister submitter) suggested this, here’s her short description of what went down for those who don’t speak auf Deutsch: “Kuffour knocked out Kahn, then Dreher twisted his knee. Left back Tarnat had to go in goal and the game ended with Kuffour scoring the winner goal.”
