Bayern won 17-0 today!

You read that right. Today, the team played a friendly in the small town of Selters against a dream-team assembled by local fan club Bayern-Kings 1987 Selters/Ts.

Goalscorers included Claudio Pizarro (4), Arjen Robben (2), Philipp Lahm (2), Anatoliy Tymoshchuk (2), Mitchell Weiser, Manuel Neuer (penalty), Bastian Schweinsteiger, Patrick Weihrauch, Toni Kroos, Mario Mandzukic and Xherdan Shaqiri. 11 of the goals were scored in the first half.

In an effort to get a consolation goal, the opposing team even tried playing 14 players by the end of the game - it didn’t work. Fans of Bayern at the game had a great time, however, and Bayern got some excellent, if not a little too easy, goal-scoring practice.
