what does recordmeister come from
The direct translation for Rekordmeister is “record champions.” It is used to describe a team with the most league titles - the one that holds that record.
Bayern is therefore, without a doubt, Germany’s “Rekordmeister” and for that reason a lot of media, blogs, people, and just about everyone in general call them that. It’s pretty much become a nickname for the club.
And in turn, the name of our blog. :)
