August 2011
- Arjen Robben is still suffering from back problems and received treatment today.
- Mario Gomez pulled out of international duty with a muscle issue in his thigh.
- Daniel van Buyten also had to pull out of international duty and will be back in Munich on Wednesday for treatment for his Achilles tendon.
- Breno and Ivica Olic are the only long term injuries as of yet.
We’ve been hinting at this in the past to a few followers that we interact with and it’s time to bring it to the masses.
Rekordmeister will be holding a contest up until the end of the Hinrunde (so after we play Köln on the 17th of December). As of now there are no real rules to the contest - we will probably make a post during one of the next international breaks that will give you an idea of the prizes and then you can like/reblog that post to enter.
If you want a chance to put your name in the hat another 2 or 3 times, hop over to our twitter account and participate in the games we’ve been playing. So far we’ve been playing Name-That-Bromance, which I have a feeling many of our followers would excel at. We have a point system in place and the more points you get, the more chances you have at winning the prize.
As for the prizes, we wish we could give you a signed jersey or something extravagant, but seeing as we’re two college kids, that might be a bit difficult. We’ll try our best to offer you the best prize package possible. Don’t worry about which country you live in, this is open worldwide.
***If you have a private twitter account, we cannot see your tweets. We will work on a solution to this problem for those who are not comfortable with having a public profile.
******If you do not have a twitter account, we may be generous and award points for submitting prize ideas, posts, scoring us tickets for games, or baking us pies. :)
We’ll be updating more as we finalize our plans. This contest is a giant thank you to all of you who like and reblog and follow us. You all make the blogging experience ten times more enjoyable, so now it’s our turn to honor you all. :)

How you see your brother’s future? Will he go to FC Barcelona or Real Madrid? Or will he stay on the Bayern faithful forever?
I think that Thomas will always remain at Bayern. What he wants somewhere else? There simply is no better club than Bayern.
In case you weren’t already aware - the next two weeks are an international football break. Bayern’s next game won’t be until September 10th (against Freiburg) and the Champions League group stage will be begin the following Wednesday (against Villarreal, September 14th).
We will posting which Bavarians will be playing for their country before the games start and we’ll be posting news and pictures as usual.
Just a heads up in case you were expecting a game next weekend. :)
